All campers should be happy … that’s why there are many options in and around St. Joseph. Campgrounds include AOK, Beacon RV Park, Sharp RV Park and Riverview Retreat at Lake Contrary. Just 15 minutes from St. Joseph along the river bluffs is Lews and Clark State Park. If you don’t mind a scenic drive to St. Joseph attractions, check out Weston Bend State Park to the south along Highway 371 or Basswood Resort. To the north, try Big Lake State Park, Mozingo Lake cabins and other camping areas in Maryville, an easy drive on Highway 71.
