PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOLS
Bishop LeBlond High School: Bishop LeBlond Memorial High School, founded in 1960 by the Benedictine Sisters of Atchison, Kan., is a Diocesan comprehensive school serving grades nine through 12. The comprehensive academic and co-curricular program encourages growth in religious faith, skill development and self-discovery; and aids in career selection.
LeBlond is the only Catholic high school located in Northwest Missouri and has been providing college preparatory education for more than 50 years.
St. Joseph Christian School: St. Joseph Christian School is accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Committee for Accredited Schools Non-Public, as well as through the University of Missouri at Columbia. Students participate in the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA), giving them the opportunity to compete in athletics, fine arts, and other competitions. Students are also eligible to receive the State of Missouri Bright Flight Scholarship and participate in the National Merit Program. New sports facilities and a media lab are among the aspects of St. Joseph Christian that attract students from across the region.
