MCC offers courses in practical nursing, radiologic and surgical technology, introduction to welding and machining as well as a certified nursing assistant program. Hillyard offers courses in carpentry, welding, precision machining, computer-aided drafting and more. Hillyard partners with MWSU on the Manufacturing Technician Certification (MT1), which allows those who pass to more quickly obtain good-paying jobs with local employers in manufacturing.
North Central Missouri College offers certificates, two-year degree programs, and transfer degrees to the Northwest region of the state. Its new, North Belt site was established to help ease the pressure of commuting and attending classes around a busy schedule. It provides students in the area with a community college option, one that will follow the same academic standards as its main campus in Trenton, Mo.
The Missouri Western Western Institute offers specialized classes and courses in degrees and non-degree areas, with a range of course schedules. Check out programs in areas like criminal justice, law enforcement, music, sign language and volunteer training.
