Faith Community

Faith for every journey … And proud of it.

Our faith community roots run deep. From century-old Catholic cathedrals to new and modern church gatherings, we are proud of our faith heritage and our bright faith future. German, Ukrainian, Irish, French and Polish immigrant families arriving in St. Joseph in the mid-1800s built centers of worship that are still in use today. Denominations include Christian, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Jewish, Islamic, Jehovah’s Witness and Christian Science. Churches with international languages include Sudanese, Spanish and Chinese. St. Joseph is also home to several open and inclusive congregations.
